Ingredients [ For 4 people ]

4 Morato American Burger buns
400 g ground chicken breast
1 large red apple
1-2 tablespoons lemon juice
bread crumbs
walnuts
EVO oil
mayonnaise
paprika
curry powder
lettuce
basil
thyme
rock salt
salt and pepper
CHICKEN BURGERS WITH CURRIED MAYONNAISE, APPLE AND WALNUTS

Method:

    Thinly slice the apple. In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise with the curry powder. Toast the buns on a hot griddle with the insides facing downwards.

    Place the ground chicken in a bowl and season it with salt, pepper, chopped basil, lemon juice, a little oil and paprika. Adjust the texture using breadcrumbs and mix with your hands

    Using a ring mould, shape 4 patties and cook them on a hot griddle, dusted with rock salt. Halfway through the cooking time, turn them over with a spatula.

    Spread the curried mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun and place the hot burgers on top. Garnish with the apple slices, chopped walnuts, thyme and lettuce leaves. Place the other half of the bun on top and serve.
