OVEN-BAKED FRENCH TOAST WITH BERRIES

Ingredients [ For 6 people ]

12 slices Morato Pane White Spuntinelle
5 eggs (room temperature)
50g granulated sugar
1/2 vanilla bean
400ml whole milk
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
50g berries (blackberries, currants, raspberries)
powdered sugar for garnish
OVEN-BAKED FRENCH TOAST WITH BERRIES

Method:

    Beat the eggs well in a bowl, then add the milk, cinnamon and 1/2 vanilla bean.
  • 2
    Arrange the slices of Spuntinelle in a medium-sized baking dish, overlapping them slightly. Using a ladle, wet all the slices well with the egg and milk mixture.

    Arrange the berries on top and bake for about 20 minutes. Once ready, garnish with plenty of powdered sugar and serve.
