4 panini American Big Burger rolls with sesame seeds
700 g minced beef
4 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tomato
4 lettuce leaves
1 red onion
4 eggs
gherkins
extra virgin olive oil
salt and pepper

Method:

Place the minced beef in a bowl, season it with a pinch of salt and pepper, and mix. Shape the hamburgers with the aid of a ring mould, flattening them well. Wash, dry and slice the tomato, discarding the top and the bottom extremities. Drain the gherkins and cut them into slices.

Peel, rinse and cut the onion into fairly thick slices. Fry it in a pan with some olive oil and a pinch of salt, until golden.

Toast the inside of the 4 rolls on a hot griddle until golden. Sprinkle the griddle with a little salt and cook the hamburgers for approx. 3 minutes per side. Spread the mayonnaise on the rolls (season with Tabasco, if desired), add the hamburgers and top with 1 slice of tomato, the gherkins, onion and lettuce.

Fry the egg with a pinch of salt and place one in each roll. Close with the other half of the roll and serve.
